nontroversy's Diaryland Diary

Edward. . . or Jacob?

how am I going to wait the two months until New Moon comes out!?

in reality, the movie "The Invention of Lying" seems really funny. It takes place in a world where everyone is strictly literal- no sarcasm, no evasion. Ricky Gervais plays this character who figures out how to lie. That's all I know. And it is just a movie, however, I am interested since I have spent a good deal of time thinking about how I have always been a literalist. Previously, I would have used the word "idealist", but now consider that term inadequate.

I've begun to delete Facebook friends. What started it all was eventually getting fed up with this person who incessantly was posting really stupid and reductionist leftist blither. I had really only met him once, and somehow we ended up friends on facebook. I just couldn't stand it anymore, so I deleted him. It was quite easy to delete someone I found out. you just click twice. Then I decided that I would see who else I could do without. I don't remember how many I got rid of. It was great!

And then, I actually refused a friend request. This was a person from a long time ago, who really always gave me the cold shoulder. Under my new, stricter policy, there was no way this person would make the cut. I admit it was a little spiteful, but I believe in keeping grudges.
